Her journey became an initiation into the world of frequency ~ the difference between noise and resonance, performance and authenticity, synthetic living and true inner alignment. In 2019, she began sharing this exploration publicly through her podcast, Deja Blu, whose conversations around transformation, consciousness and emotional healing have since reached millions.
When the call arose to create a second installment of the Heavenly Bodies series, Blu was the only person Lily could imagine taking the journey alongside. And what followed became far more than the making of a tarot deck.
Together, Blu and Lily traveled across the world gathering inspiration from sacred sites, mythologies and ancient landscapes ~ from the Glastonbury Tor to the River Nile, from the Amazon jungle to the hills of Topanga Canyon where the deck itself would eventually come to life. Over the course of three years, they painted all 78 cards by hand and wrote the accompanying guidebook through lived relationship with the archetypes themselves.
Today, Heavenly Bodies exists as an evolving world of tarot, astrology, art and symbolic living ~ devoted to reflection, imagination and the ancient human desire to make meaning of our lives.
How our heavenly world came to be...
Heavenly Bodies began in 2017 as a creative outlet for Lily during a decade-long journey of healing from chronic illness. What began as a search for physical healing became an initiation into symbolism, ritual, creativity and a deeper relationship with life itself.
Through this process, the separation between the spiritual and physical worlds began to dissolve. Human beings began to feel celestial in nature, as living mirrors of the cosmos ~ Heavenly Bodies.
During these years, Lily hand-painted and wrote the body of work which would become her best-selling Heavenly Bodies Astrology Deck ~ a project now translated into six languages that has introduced tens of thousands of people to astrology as a symbolic and experiential practice.
During this same period, Blu was moving through a transformation of her own. In her twenties, she suddenly lost over seventy percent of her hearing due to a genetic hearing disorder ~ an experience that radically altered her relationship to life and the unseen world around her.
We are so grateful you've found your way here.
